Sex & Nudity

  • April O' Neil can be seen changing her disguises wearing a midriff short shirt revealing her stomach and her short skirt while collecting information on Baxter Stockman.

Violence & Gore

  • There are moderate portrayals of violence without detail in the film, justified by context. Said portrayals of violence do not dwell on cruelty, infliction of pain and/or torture of any kind.
  • There are various scenes of fighting between the villains and the turtles in the film.
  • Most of the scenes involve the turtles engaging in hand to hand combat with ninjas.
  • Some of the stronger scenes include a mutant rhino firing a machine gun on a plane and causing it to crash; the rhino charging and flipping cars; the turtles teaming up against an alien robot and fighting him through acrobatic martial arts sequences; etc.
  • The scenes are tinged with humor and mostly devoid of any details of injury or infliction of pain, and are therefore suited for a younger audience.

  • Rocksteady and Bebop as humans can be seen hanging out at the bar having strong drinks.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows' is a sequel revolving around four mutant turtles in humanoid form with ninja skills. In this installment, the turtles fight against their old nemesis Shredder as well as the alien Krang. At the same time, they struggle for acceptance among the humans of New York City.
  • The film is notably more tame than the first installment.
